white cs base
blue cs mats
printed dp
punched border (white cs)
yellow ribbon
die cut label
peel off sentiment
sewn on sequins and beads

AN EASTER BASKET

The inspiration for my little basket came from a video tutorial that I shared in my Creative Papercrafts Group on Facebook.

The little image is from a Bugaboo Stamps Mini set, called Love Circle Sentiments, that I printed on white cs, then cut with a die.

I used two stick on heart gems.

COURAGE

This card is my entry in the CAS challenge over at The Outlawz.  They asked for the sentiment to be the star of the show, and I used a John Wayne quote, printed onto white cardstock.  The rich bronze cardstock was used as a mat, and I added two silver metal brads and a metal stallion charm.

VINTAGE EASTER

The Saturday challenge at The Outlawz was to create a vintage card.

I used a freebie vintage tag, a vintage image of Ester eggs, and distressed the edges.

The background paper is digital that I printed, and I cut out some of it to use in the bottom right hand corner.

I also used a deep red red cs mat, deep red ribbon and a die cut corner.  The little flowers are store bought.

HAPPY 50th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY (from the group)

I belong to a Thursday morning Craft Group and one of our members celebrated her 50th wedding Anniversary last Thursday.  I always make a card so that we can all write our own message, and this is the little project I created for Yvonne and John, who were married in 1965

The card consists of four concertina fold outs, and the cover of each has the year of their marriage in pale fold diecuts. The belly band holds them all closed.  The the foreground of the pic you will see all the little tags that the ladies wrote their messages on.  These were then pasted into the foldouts.

When the belly band is removed :

The very last page of the foldouts then contains the numbers of the current year (2015)

Used to create this project
white cs
black cs
bright gold cs
pale gold cs
diecuts
ribbon
gems
